  Solar Rebates

Federal Tax Credits - In addition to utility rebates for photovoltaic systems, the federal government is providing a 30% Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for solar electric and solar water heating systems for residential applications. There is no cap for commercial or industrial applications. Your local solar installer can explain the basics of the tax credit program. For all detailed tax questions see a qualified tax professional. This is an ideal time to get started on owning  your own solar water heating and/or photovoltaic system for heating you water or generating clean electricity from the sun and reducing your utility bills.
Tax Credit FAQ's
