COSEIA Certification
About Certification
Solar installers in Colorado are not required by law to be licensed to practice, but are expected to abide by jurisdictional permitting, insurance and inspection standards. In the absence of State licensure individuals voluntarily obtain industry certification(s) to establish themselves as highly qualified in the field.
To become COSEIA certified individuals must demonstrate proficiency standards, increased levels of knowledge and experience, leadership and safety on the job, and pass a written exam. Once certified annual continuing education is required.
Look for the "COSEIA Certified" logo when browsing our membership directory for individuals who strive to offer a higher degree of protection to the consumer. Find a certified installer now >
