Responsibilities:
Prioritize, schedule and manage operations; including installations, electrical and contracting crews (roughly 15-20 people)
Serve as primary customer contact, liaison with customers and salespeople during and after installation
Resolve customer issues
Expedite building and electrical permits
Schedule and staff building and electrical inspections
Perform quality assurance and troubleshooting for installations
Administrative work
Requirements:
Experience in the Renewable Energy Field desirable
Ability to work overtime hours as needed
NABCEP certification or CoSEIA certification required
Management experience requirement
Daily travel inside Denver/Boulder area
Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with customers and co-workers and works to maintain constructive working relationships
Excellent phone skills
Ability to multi-task and manage time in a productive manner
Strong time management and problem solving skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be organized, detail oriented, accurate
Ability to follow and execute detailed instructions
Applicants must have reliable vehicle with large ladder capacity
Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with customers, management, colleagues inside and outside of the Company
Must be dependable, self-motivated, and a team player
Operational and operations experience required
Strong business sense

Job Opportunity - Construction Manager

Rocky Mountain Energy Group (RME Group) based in Boulder, Colorado, and majority-owned by juwi Holding AG is a developer and turnkey installer of solar power plants throughout North America . RME Group's main focus is the development, construction and operation of utility scale power plants (1MW or larger).
RME Group has established an aggressive target for bringing solar power on line each year, and RME Group is looking to fill the position of Construction Manager. The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing, executing and monitoring the construction activities for RME Group's existing projects. With the appropriate background and experience, the Construction Manager may evolve into the Director of Construction for RME Group.
RME Group is looking for an experienced construction team leader who will have demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. The position will be based in Boulder, Colorado and will report to the Managing Director.
Principal Position Description:
. Manage all aspects of project construction including review of final construction drawings, budgeting, permitting, inspection and commissioning.
. Ensure implementation of effective and economical construction methods, techniques, policies and procedures to optimize construction efficiency.
. Develop construction budgets and schedules. Monitor and control construction expenditures and
progress within the project's budgets and timeline.
. Preparation of request for proposals (RFP's) for civil and inter-connection scope documents;
negotiate, award and manage subcontractor contracts related to civil design, geo-technical
investigations, medium and high voltage interconnection, American Land and Title Association work, and surveying and mapping, as required.
. Select, direct and manage the work performed by consultants and subcontractors working on various phases of the project.
. Support and provide technical review and comments to detailed civil design and engineering performed by RME Group's Project Management Group.
. Ensure that adequate, well-trained personnel are available to effectively carry out construction activities.
. Maintain close coordination with Owner's Engineer to ensure that it is performed properly in terms of quality, schedule and budget in line with the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract.
. Direct and manage the due-diligence review of the projects by third party (lender and tax equity investor) consultants and engineers.
. Oversee and coordinate with other Owner's contractors (if any), and the local authorities, ensuring at all times that required local, State and Federal construction and environmental permits and consents are obtained and maintained in good standing.
. Monitor and keep updated when needed the overall schedule of the plant construction integrating the EPC schedule with the schedule of permits, authorizations and other contractual obligations.
. Makes sure that agreed corrective actions to mitigate the effects of variances on schedule and budget are planned and carried out.
. Direct and control the work at site by contractors working directly for the Company, if any.
. Oversee the work health and safety and environmental conditions at site.
Position Requirements:
. Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering (desired).
. General Contractors license.
. Master Electrician, and/or deeply experienced in medium and high voltage inter-connection with electricity grid.
. 10 to 15 years of professional experience in electrical construction business.
. Must have project and site work experience in large electrical construction projects.
. Experience with power generation construction and electricity grid interconnection is a plus.
. Demonstrated experience in scheduling, budgeting and execution of construction projects over US $5 million.
. Ability to negotiate and administer commercial contracts.
. Resolve complex technical issues.
. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and coordination skills.
. Autonomous: take initiative and organize work in an independent manner.
. Team management, team player, stress-resistant.
. Frequent project related travel is expected.

The candidate will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and be an initial point of contact for incoming leads and client contacts. Duties will include giving sales presentations to potential clients, participation in trade/home shows, preparation of proposals, and consistent follow-up with potential clients. All Sales Professionals as AES are expected to present themselves in a business professional manner at all times - including professional business attire, manner, and correspondence.
Our Sales Professionals are compensated with the highest commission rate in the industry to ensure the integrity and professionalism that AES was founded on. Specific Functions include:
1) Be (or become) very familiar with Solar Electric Energy Systems - including components, basic understanding of function, and all other relevant aspects. 2) Be (or become) very familiar about the latest in financial incentives (rebates and tax credits), federal/state/local laws and regulations on solar energy 3) Conduct site assessments - which includes taking careful measurements of the roof or surface where the system will be installed 4) Collect, analyze, and verify site assessment data and work with the Project Manager to develop a proposal and sales presentation 5) Manage and process client feedback to continually improve customer relations 6) Consistently strive to develop more efficient and cost-effective sales and marketing techniques Required Qualifications for Position: 1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills 2) Exceptional customer service skills 3) Possess an excellent phone and e-mail manner (Professionalism is paramount) 4) Entrepreneurial-driven, ability to work autonomously on multiple projects 5) Experience in the renewable/alternative energy industry or attendance of renewable energy classes (Not absolutely necessary, as we will train the right candidate) 6) Strong computer skills - ability to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word effectively 7) High enthusiasm about solar energy and desire to educate clients and other interested parties Desired qualifications for position:
1) BA/BS in a related field (Environmental Studies, Engineering, Business, Marketing) 2) Several years of professional sales experience - preferably of high end products or services 3) Advanced computer skills (AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.) 4) Prior experience in public speaking, group presentations, etc. 5) Strong passion in alternative energies and environmental / world energy issues, particularly involving solar energy
